Melissa Hathway

Melissa Hathaway is joining Commvault as a strategic advisor and head of the newly established Cyber Resilience Council. Hathaway will head the council in his new position to provide guidance on new security trends and dangers as well as to showcase best practices. According to a statement from the corporation, she offers a “unique combination of policy, technical expertise, and boardroom experience.”

As the president of Hathaway Global Strategies, a consulting firm, she assists Fortune 500 corporations with technology evaluation, enterprise risk management, and cybersecurity. Hathaway has also managed two presidential administrations: under President Barack Obama, she oversaw the Cyberspace Policy Review, and under President George W. Bush, she oversaw the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative. Hathaway has previously had affiliations with a number of other international organizations, including the World Bank, NATO, the Organization of American States, and the International Telecommunications Union.

The need for cyber resilience has never been greater in a time of constant and growing cyber threats. Commvault is a key player in assisting businesses in identifying, stopping, and, if required, rapidly recovering from assaults. “I am excited to carry on collaborating with Commvault to enhance resilience for organizations worldwide,” stated Hathaway.

Richard Gadd was named as Commvault’s new Senior Vice President for the EMEA and India (EMEAI) market earlier this month. In this capacity, Gadd will be in charge of initiatives aimed at giving international organizations strong cyber resilience solutions that protect against modern cyber threats and ease data recovery.

Gadd brings with him twenty-five years of technology industry sales experience. In his most recent role at Cohesity, as Vice President and General Manager for EMEA, he developed a strong foundation in data management and storage. He had previously held executive roles at Computacenter, EMC, and Hitachi Vantara.
