Honeywell has introduced Cyber Watch to better assist enterprises in identifying, mitigating, and managing the most recent Operational Technology (OT) cyber threats.

“Everyone is a line of defense against the next cyberattack, from the plant manager to the CISO. No business wants to be the next target of a ransomware assault and make front-page news.” Kevin Dehoff, president and CEO of Honeywell Connected Enterprise, stated, “We are aware that hackers are waiting in the shadows, months or even years in advance, to strike. Our sector-leading technology, backed by Honeywell’s extensive domain expertise in critical infrastructure, is created to give managers and staff the tools they need to thwart attacks before they happen, from detection to remediation to reaction.

Nearly three-quarters of firms reported one or more data breaches in the previous year, according to Forrester Research research from 2023.In addition, attacks on commercial entities have increased by 140% year over year.

“Understanding vulnerabilities and gaining insight at both the site and enterprise level will help enable faster and more informed decisions to better defend against cyberattacks, reduce potential downtime, and create a safer environment for our employees,” stated Chase Carpenter, Honeywell’s chief security officer.

At Honeywell Connect, the top software conference for industrial businesses, Cyber Watch, a component of the Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ Suite, is being exhibited this week. Additionally, attendees will be able to use an improved version of Honeywell’s potent Cyber Insights technology.

The Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ Suite’s goal is to increase overall resilience by identifying security flaws in an organization’s OT environment by giving detailed insights into vulnerabilities, configuration problems, and compliance gaps at both the site and enterprise levels.
