CrowdStrike has formed a strategic partnership with NVIDIA, the global giant in AI computing, to enhance cybersecurity measures with advanced AI technologies. This collaboration integrates NVIDIA’s AI computing capabilities into CrowdStrike’s Falcon XDR platform, leveraging NVIDIA’s GPU-optimised AI pipelines and software, including the new NVIDIA NIM microservices, to enable the creation of custom and secure generative AI models for both companies’ customers.

This partnership comes at a crucial time, as the 2024 CrowdStrike Global Threat Report highlights the increasing speed and complexity of cyber attacks, with the average breakout time now at 62 minutes and the fastest recorded attack occurring in just over two minutes. Integrating NVIDIA’s advanced AI with CrowdStrike’s cybersecurity platform aims to provide businesses with the speed and automation necessary to prevent breaches.

George Kurtz, CrowdStrike’s co-founder and CEO, emphasised the company’s ongoing commitment to AI in cybersecurity and its potential to drive business efficiency, speed, and innovation. Similarly, Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, pointed out the critical role of data in cybersecurity and how NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and generative AI, combined with CrowdStrike’s capabilities, can offer enterprises unparalleled threat detection and protection.

CrowdStrike plans to utilise NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and AI services, including NVIDIA Morpheus and NVIDIA NIM microservices, alongside the Falcon platform’s unique data insights to address complex cybersecurity challenges. This will allow customers to develop AI-powered applications capable of processing extensive data volumes for enhanced threat hunting, anomaly detection, and proactive defence mechanisms, ensuring the highest level of security data and effectively operationalising AI technologies for improved performance and cost efficiencies.
