Shivkumar Pandey has been appointed Group CISO by the Adani Group.
Pandey, who has over 23 years of leadership experience across many industries, is currently heading the cybersecurity division of the Adani Group. In this role, he ensures the security of IT and OT systems and manages strategic cybersecurity efforts.
Before joining Adani, Pandey worked for BSE Ltd. as the Group CISO. In this role, he regularly oversaw the protection and availability of the business’s information systems and played a key role in the creation of the sector’s first next-generation information and cyber security operation centre. He has held positions in Kotak Mahindra, Tata AIG, SUD Life, Reliance JIO, National Payment Corporation of India, and Future Generali India. He has worked in fast-paced sectors like communications, ITES, and BFSI, providing IT services and cyber security.
Pandey expressed his happiness at his new role and the opportunity to apply his extensive cybersecurity experience to safeguard the Adani Group’s diverse industrial operations.

Pandey is now at the helm of the group’s cybersecurity function. “My role at Adani is more exciting and allows me to apply my cyber security knowledge and experience to protecting the vast industrial landscape of IT and OT systems, including groups of national critical infrastructure,” he expressed.
