Richard Gadd has been appointed by Commvault as its new Senior Vice President for EMEA and India (EMEAI). In this position, Gadd will be in charge of overseeing initiatives to offer strong cyber resilience solutions to international organizations that will protect them from modern cyber attacks and ease data recovery.

In the field of technology, Gadd has 25 years of sales expertise. He most recently worked as Vice President and General Manager for EMEA at Cohesity, where he had a strong background in data management and storage. He held top positions before this at Hitachi Vantara, EMC, and Computacenter.

Gadd was instrumental in helping Hitachi Vantara grow its EMEA business during his time there, making it the company’s largest global region. He oversaw the EMEA portfolio at Cohesity, which helped the area see the company’s fastest growth. Gadd plans to use this amount of knowledge to propel Commvault’s go-to-market initiatives in the EMEAI area, aiming for comparable successes in the industry.

Richard Gadd, Senior Vice President of EMEAI, stated, “I’m looking forward to being able to lead and contribute to the Commvault team’s fantastic work in the future of empowering global businesses’ cyber resilience with its rich pedigree in innovation and ground-breaking technologies. I can’t wait to start this new task.

“Given the enormous potential and the dynamic momentum within the EMEAI region, it was important to onboard a leader of the right caliber, business insight, and engaging persona,” stated Riccardo Di Blasio, Chief Revenue Officer of Commvault. We are utterly certain that our selection of Richard was the best one. The vision and potential we see in him leading Commvault’s team in EMEAI are ideally aligned with his illustrious track record of inspiring other large-scale enterprises to achieve amazing growth and market share.
