To assist enterprises in improving their security posture and moving along the Zero Trust maturity journey, Entrust has introduced new capabilities. The new capabilities increase security, transparency, and governance for developing software, managing cryptographic keys, and managing virtual infrastructures.
“IT and security leaders must secure the business, foresee and prepare for new threats, maintain compliance, and allow the firm to advance and expand. Zero Trust is a platform that enables today’s hybrid, multi-cloud operations while helping organizations improve their security posture. According to Bhagwat Swaroop, President of Digital Security Solutions at Entrust, “these most recent advancements from the company help organizations gain greater visibility and governance over how they manage encryption keys, secrets, and applications across on-premise, virtualized, and multi-cloud operations.”
The new Zero Trust features Code Signing as a Service in the cloud. enhances CodeSafe solution capabilities, which enable secure application development within the protected border of the Entrust nShield hardware security module (HSM), and simplifies application security for developers. A cornerstone of Zero Trust architectures, the new Compliance Manager for KeyControl solution offers visibility of encryption keys and secrets across on-premises and multi-cloud operations.
To assist enterprises in understanding how their posture corresponds with the CISA Zero Trust Maturity model, Entrust has developed a new Zero Trust Maturity self-assessment tool. Code signing software as a service A completely hosted cloud-based solution for obtaining and managing code signing certificates that guarantee the integrity and validity of software is the new Entrust Code Signing as a Service (CSaaS). The CSaaS solution connects to pre-existing automated code-signing apps and workflows and gives enterprises a centralized location to store code-signing certificates and keys without the need to manage secure hardware.
Organizations can create an encryption key inventory and gain complete insight into associated key information across on-premises and cloud settings with the new Compliance Manager for KeyControl product. This patent-pending technology offers a centralized dashboard to observe and track the compliance of a company’s cryptographic assets, whether they are dispersed throughout a number of vaults, configured locally, or globally dispersed.
