Toufic Derbass has been named by Kaspersky as the Managing Director for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) area. With over three decades of experience, Toufic hopes to expand on Kaspersky’s 16 years of strong regional presence as the company looks to quadruple its business sectors, large enterprise and B2B, over the next five years.
As the region quickly embraces digitization, Toufic is dedicated to fostering stronger ties with local governments and legislators as well as marketing Kaspersky’s accolade-winning goods and services. In keeping with Kaspersky’s goal of creating a safer world, his efforts will also be directed at raising the region’s cybersecurity knowledge.
Before joining Kaspersky, Toufic worked in executive roles at large software corporations, where he was in charge of growing the company by establishing executive connections and strategic alliances with top-tier private and public sector companies.
