Palo Alto Networks names Kunal Ruvala as SVP-GM for India

Kunal Ruvala was named Senior Vice President and General Manager for India by Palo Alto Networks. As a center of innovative excellence, Palo Alto Networks India’s next phase of growth and innovation will be managed by Ruvala, who will supervise the company’s India Development Centers.

India ranks third globally in terms of digitalization. To combat the increasing risks of cyberattacks that come with a digital economy, cybersecurity solutions must advance simultaneously. In this capacity, Ruvala will lead Palo Alto Networks’ next stage of expansion in India, promoting ongoing innovation and bearing accountability for every facet of the market’s Network Security Product function while assisting India in realising its aspiration to become a $1 trillion digital economy by 2026.

Under the direction of Anand Oswal, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network Security, Ruvala oversees teams and projects throughout the company and develops best-in-class products that provide superior security results as part of the Network Security platform. He will collaborate in this capacity with Anil Valluri, MD and VP, India & SAARC, who is still in charge of spearheading the region’s go-to-market initiatives. Ruvala will also be in charge of collaborations with the higher education sector in India to promote co-innovation in R&D initiatives.

Ruvala most recently served as President of Honeywell Technology Solutions. She has extensive expertise in promoting growth projects and fostering innovation at scale in several organizations, including Dell, RSA, and EMC. Additionally, he has a strong background in employee resource groups and is an advocate for diversity and inclusivity.
